Calculation Method
As a production company, ChezFilms employs intermittent entertainment workers via so-called "customary" fixed-term contracts (CDDU) for short assignments starting from one day.
Our rates are based on the social minima of the Collective Agreement on Audiovisual Production in France. In the absence of equipment rental and specific costs (long distance, insurance, security, etc.), the price charged is generally double the social minimum:

Two examples
Example 1: How much does a cameraman cost per day?
In the first table: this refers to a "D.O.P. (with gear)". For a single day, you need to count an 8-hour day. The rate for a cameraman per day will therefore be €890 excluding VAT.
If you would like a second cameraman: since the first one is the Director of Photography, the second is considered a "Cameraman (with gear)". The rate for an additional cameraman for the day will therefore be €810 excluding VAT.

Example 2: How much does a day of editing cost?
In the second table: this refers to a "Head Film Editor (with workstation)" for a single 8-hour day. The rate for a day of editing is therefore €760 excluding VAT.
